Chettinand Cement Corporation on Tuesday reported a 59.13 per cent dip in net profit to Rs 18.18 crore for the second quarter of current fiscal,as sales fell.
The Chennai-based firm had reported a net profit of Rs 44.49 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal,it said in a communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The net sales of the company declined by nine per cent to Rs 328.43 crore during the July-September quarter of the current fiscal compared to Rs 361.16 crore in the year-ago period.
