The CPM Saturday expelled the former confidential assistant of former Finance Minister Asim Dasgupta

The CPM Saturday expelled the former confidential assistant of former Finance Minister Asim Dasgupta.

Sources in the party confirmed the action was taken after Ganesh De’s links with the Saradha Group,which is involved in a chit fund scam,was established in an internal inquiry.

Earlier this week,De was summoned to the police commissionerate where he was grilled to over alleged links with the Saradha Group.
