A little bit of common sense can go a long way in keeping your body cool this summer

Avoid direct sunlight
Direct exposure to sunlight raises the body temperature even higher than the air temperature. This can lead to severe dehydration. If you must go outdoors,go in the morning or evening. Always wear a wide-brimmed hat with loose-fitting cotton clothing.

Turn off electrical heat sources
Make sure you keep the lights in a room switched off. Incandescent light bulbs also create heat. Also keep your computer switched off when not in use.
