The Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) stayed firm with 85.16 points gain during the week on buying support.
The local bourse had moved down marginally by 4.01 points in the previous week.
The CSE-40 index opened at 7,543.84 points and after touching intra-week low of 7,425.51,closed at 7,629.
BHEL finished the week at Rs 2,060.05,while Blueprint Securities was at Rs 307.
Infosys Technologies finished the week at Rs 2,918.25,ONGC ended at Rs 302.40,SBI was at Rs 2,868 and Tata Steel finished higher at Rs 628.95 at the end of the trading week.
Tata Motors finished at Rs 1,238 and Titan Industries was at Rs 4,033 at end of the week.
Vindus Holding in the last trading session finished at Rs 304.25.
