Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Friday ruled out the possibility of mid-term polls even if the Opposition resorts to disrupting the Parliament in the Budget session on JPC probe demand. Is it (forcing mid-term polls by boycotting Parliament) possible in a functional democracy? They dont have peoples mandate,we have peoples mandate, Singh said. Incidentally,Singhs remarks came even though he is not part of 18-member team the Congress has authorised to speak to the media.
