Engineers India Ltd today reported a 30 per cent rise in its net profit to Rs 148.07 crore in the quarter ended June 30,2011.
The company,which provides engineering consultancy primarily to energy firms,had posted a net profit of Rs 114.55 crore in the April-June quarter of the previous fiscal,EIL said in a statement here.

Its turnover was up 41 per cent to Rs 853.59 crore in Q1 of 2011-12 fiscal as compared to Rs 606.03 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
