Engine enters station with man’s head in crash guard

The train,on-route to Thiruvananthapuram,arrived at the station at 8.30 am

Passengers waiting for the Sabari Express on the platform of a railway station in Coimbatore were shocked to see a man’s head stuck on the crash guard of the engine of the oncoming train.

The train,on-route to Thiruvananthapuram,arrived at the station at 8.30 am. When the passengers noticed the head they informed the railway police.

The driver told the police that a man had jumped in front of the train near Somanur,25km from Coimbatore. He said the man was quarreling with a woman near the tracks. As there was no stop between the two places,the train was taken to City Railway Station.
