General Dynamics UK will attend Global Security India 2010,which opens on 28 April.

General Dynamics UK will attend Global Security India 2010,which opens on 28 April at the Ashok Hotel Convention Centre in New Delhi. General Dynamics UK will demonstrate how it can support India in its efforts to protect the country,states or organisations from attack.

General Dynamics UK will focus on three key security and resilience capabilities at Global Security India 2010 – Urban Intelligence,Deployable Infrastructure and Protection of Critical National Infrastructure.

Urban Intelligence

In addition to cutting-edge physical security solutions and interoperability of communications,good intelligence is the lifeblood of security services operating in urban locations worldwide. General Dynamics

UK’s approach to Intelligence,Surveillance,Targeting and Recognition (ISTAR) and its new VESPer (Virtual Extra Sensory Perception) system give security forces a real edge. The General Dynamics UK team will demonstrate VESPer’s 3D mapping system,which helps security forces gain advantage in various scenarios including terrorist sieges,urban emergency planning and public event security.

Deployable Infrastructure

Mobility of people and equipment is the hallmark of both modern warfare and civil society’s response to accidents and disasters. The ability to move equipment,house operatives,treat the injured or deal with the results of a major incident means the ISO container is an increasingly important piece of equipment. General Dynamics UK will be showcasing a host of ISO containerised solutions from emergency accommodation and sanitation to medical facilities and security command posts – all of which can be easily delivered to remote or disaster-impacted locations
