Going solo

Travelling alone can be a liberating experience says Jacqueline Fernandez.

Sure, travelling alone can be a totally rejuvenating experience as there’s no one to slow you down or bicker with over which sights to see along the way. Probably that’s why Jacqueline Fernandez loves to travel solo even if it means that she has to haul her bags alone. The actor admits that when she’s travelling solo no one invades her privacy and “it gives her a lot of time to do some soul-searching”. A die-hard foodie, the former Miss Sri Lanka prefers to explore new places and cuisines and has visited London,Europe,France and Sri Lanka. Just back from a trip to Bahrain, she confesses that she loves to go on road trips and has jotted down an endless list of places that she would love to visit. A huge fan of European culture and architecture,Fernandez makes it a point to pick up a stamp or a post-card whenever she visits a certain place.
