Good content but low on visual appeal

The Memories and on the set pages should be printed on glossy pages too!

I have been an avid reader of Screen since the last three years. It’s heartening to know that the newspaper has reinvented itself, moved beyond the realm of cinema and started covering various aspects of entertainment like business, technology and theater. This helps us readers to get a holistic look at entertainment. Two of my favourite sections in the weekly magazine are Memories and On The Sets. While Memories gives us in-depth information about people both behind and in front of the camera and conjures up vivid images of their lives,On The Sets gives us a sneak peek behind the making of films. Since I’m a movie buff, both these sections appeal to me. However,it would be great if all the three sections of Screen are made glossy as that will not only make the publication look more attractive but also retain the readers’ attention right till the end. More often than not,the latter two sections are printed quite badly and look unappealing despite having good content. I hope to see this positive change in Screen.
