Grains remain steady in thin trading

Steady conditions prevailed in the wholesale grains market .

Steady conditions prevailed in the wholesale grains market today with wheat,rice and other commodities,after moving in a tight range,settled at the previous levels.

Arrivals and offtake too remained at a low ebb,and volume of business restricted.

Marketmen said the absence of major activity,as demand from local parties and neighbouring state markets remained negligible,kept prices unchanged.

Wheat MP (deshi) 1,570-1,820,Wheat dara (for mills) 1,180-1,190,Chakki atta (delivery) 1,190-1,195,Atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 180,Shakti bhog (10 kg) 180,Roller flour mill 615-635 (50 kg),Maida 680-700 (50 kg) and Sooji 700-720 (50 kg).
