It’s that time of the year again when the Capital is on a fashion high,as the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring-Sumer 2013 is set to take off at Pragati Maidan from October 6 to 10.

It’s that time of the year again when the Capital is on a fashion high,as the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Spring-Sumer 2013 is set to take off at Pragati Maidan from October 6 to 10. The five-day event will see 63 runway designers – from Ritu Kumar,Wendell Rodricks and Manish Malhotra to Atsu Sekhose,Kallol Dutta and Rahul Mishra. Not to forget the freshly minted designers such as Rahul Singh and Surabhi Chawla. “We have 35 shows lined up and as many as 125 designers will put up their stalls. The list of stall designers will be out soon,” says Sunil Sethi,President,Fashion Design Council of India,organisers of the event.

As a teaser about her upcoming collection,Anupama Dayal says,“It’s all about graphics this time. My collection is a reflection of Kalinga,my birthplace,and my recent travels to Egypt.” While she is going graphic,Delhi-based Jenjum Gadi promises an ode to gota. “The clothes will showcase how gota can be used in different ways and not just as sari borders,” he says.
