Haryana changes income limit for old age allowance scheme

The Haryana govt increased the limit of annual income from Rs 50K to Rs two lakh per annum for a person to avail benefits under Old Age scheme.

The Haryana government today increased the limit of annual income from Rs 50,000 to Rs two lakh per annum for a person to avail benefits under Old Age Samman Allowance Scheme.

“Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda increased the limit of annual income from all sources for eligibility of a person under Old Age Samman Allowance Scheme from Rs 50,000 to Rs two lakh per annum,” a press release said here.

At present around 13 lakh beneficiaries are being benefited under the scheme,it said.
