Hope for terror-hit Assam girl

After she lost her father the sole breadwinner of the family in one of the blasts that rocked Guwahati and three other towns in Assam on October 30,Bhagyalakshmi Choudhury almost gave up her studies. Going to school was a luxury she couldnt afford.

And then,almost three months later,came the ray of hope. A city-based television channel has come forward to take care of her studies till she completes her graduation.

It is definitely a great help. I had almost thought of giving up studies after my father Rajesh Choudhury was killed in the blast at Ganeshguri, said Bhagyalakshmi.
