Help has just released. What has the response been?
The responses have ranged from average to good, but none has been negative. Some of them said that I managed to spook them and I think that is the entire idea of making a horror film. However, the best compliment that I got was when someone said that the film looked like an international venture in terms of locations, production values and acting.

A lot of prosthetic make-up was used to achieve the desired effect. Was it uncomfortable?
It was very uncomfortable and messy. My make-up would take a long time and then it would dry up very quickly. Every time we would finish a take,my make-up would have to be touched up. To give my face that gooey effect I applied aloe vera cream all over my face and it was hilarious. I couldn’t get out of my trailer as people on the sets would get scared if they saw me with my make-up.

Any more incidents where you managed to spook people out?
Well, there was this one time that I got done with the shoot very late and decided to go home without taking off my make-up. My driver got scared and when someone on the road peeped into the car he almost thought he had seen a ghost. He was scared out of his wits.

Do you believe in ghosts?
Well yes,I do believe in ghosts but I don’t want to ever encounter one in real life. I am a real coward and I don’t want to have any unpleasant experience.

So will you do another horror film?
I don’t think so. Unlike other genres, horror films are usually done by actors only once once in their entire career. Horror is a special genre and I don’t think I shall be able to do another one again.

You were appreciated by everyone for your bikini body. How difficult was it to achieve the look?
As a model I have always had a good body and have been health-conscious. Even if I would put on an inch,I would go burn myself out at the gym to lose that. When Rajeev,my director, told me that I had to wear a bikini I was confident that I would be able to carry it off.

How is Bobby Deol as a co-star?
Initially,I was scared but he broke the ice and made me feel comfortable. He was co-operative and pushed me to do my best. We had a good time,in fact all of us had a great time on the sets.

What is more important for you,box-office success or critical acclaim?
For me,audience acceptance and the satisfaction that I get from doing a role is of prime importance. I love taking risks and I am glad I did Help. When I did Jail, everyone told me that I was taking a wrong step and though the film didn’t work,I had an amazing time.

What are your future projects? What is happening on the personal front? Are you single?
I am very much single. And this is how it has been for the longest. Frankly I am too busy to even go on dates, let alone the time for a relationship. Currently I am married to work.
