If not an investor,I would have been a journalist: Buffett

Buffett is the world's third richest individual with an estimated wealth of USD 50 billion.

Warren Buffett,well known for his business acumen,would have been a journalist,had he not been “lucky” to make billions of dollars from investments.

“If I were not doing what I am doing,I would probably be a journalist. I think there is nothing more interesting than probing on somebody,then trying to put your thought down on a paper…” 80-year-old Buffett,who has pledged 99 per cent of his wealth for philanthropy,said here today.

His comments came during an interaction with investors,policyholders and panelists.

Emphasising that he has had a “lot of luck” in life,Buffett said,”I am not ashamed or enormously proud about it (being lucky)”.

The legendary investor said that he has had “enormous good fortune”.

Buffett is the world’s third richest individual with an estimated wealth of USD 50 billion.

He is on his maiden visit to India to further his philanthropic initiatives apart from looking at investment opportunities.
