More than a month after he paid over Rs 9 lakh to the government to settle his dues five years after he resigned from service,Arvind Kejriwals resignation from the Indian Revenue Service has now been accepted. Kejriwal confirmed that he had received the letter of acceptance on Tuesday. He had quit in 2006 and had been accused by the government of violating bond conditions for not completing three years of service after having gone on a two-year study leave on full pay. The bond that he had signed then required him to return the salary if he does not fulfill bond conditions.
