Video director Navin Batras new album Ishq Nasha was released earlier this week by Vee Music with music and lyrics by Ajay Vasu.

Video director Navin Batras new album Ishq Nasha was released earlier this week by Vee Music with music and lyrics by Ajay Vasu. Produced by Santosh L Bhekhre,the album contains six songs of varying moods. Sumit Kumar,son of Kishore Kumar,has also sung in this album.

Kuchh Kariye
The music of singer-composer-lyricist Sukhwinder Singhs debut film as actor,Kuchh Kariye,was launched at a Mumbai 5-star recently. Sukhwinder,who is a devoted bhakt of goddess Saraswati,put the first CD at the feet of the deity and sought her blessings at a formal launch
He requested Subhash Ghai (who introduced him as a singer in Karma) and Rajkumar Santoshi to unveil the CD along with the entire team of the film – Vikrum Kumar,Rufi Khan,Shriya,Khuahhish,Surendra Pal,director Jagbir Dahiya,music director Onkar,lyricist Salim Bijnori and presenter Shivendra Dahiya. Rajpal Yadav,Shweta Pandit,Shraddha Pandit,Kailash Kher,Sonu Kakkar,Shabbir Kumar,Shamir Tandon,south actress Lakshmi Rai and Anand Raj Anand were among those present. Kuchh Kariye is the story of three friends and it deals with the current socio political scenario.

Alka Yagnik performs at Kashti 2010
Kashti 2010 celebrated its 7th edition at Mumbais Shanmukhanand Hall on March 27. The programme was organised by Kamal Chadha and Alka Yagnik and Dr.Tushar Shah performed live at the event.
Kashti 2010 is curtain-raiser to the National Maritime Week and promotes classical and liberal art forms. Founded in 2004,past performers for Kashti include Jagjit Singh,Hariharan,Amit Kumar,Hema Sardesai and Abhijeet. The National Maritime Day is celebrated to commemorate April 5,1919,when the first Indian ship of modern times,the SS Loyalty,set out on her maiden voyage to London.

HOM Records launches Jannat
HOM Records launched Ankur Tewari and the Ghalat familys album Jannat recently. The launch was followed by a live performance by Ankur Tewari and his band. Ankur Tewari said,The album is very close to my heart,since all the songs are inspired by my journey of life over the past ten years.
Sajid Maklai of HOM Records said,Ankur has been working with us right from films like Lets Enjoy to Ek Chalis Ki Last Local. His music has immense potential,hence we are really proud to launch his album.
Jannat is an 11-track album. Ankur has written all the lyrics and all songs are recorded live.
