IT cos offer 350 jobs to Punjabi University students

The package offered for these jobs ranged between Rs 2.50 lakh to 3.50 lakh per annum.

Reputed IT companies,including Infosys Technologies,Tech Mahindra,Newgen Software,Emerson Design Engineering Centre offered 350 jobs of students of Punjabi University in different streams.

The package offered for these jobs ranged between Rs 2.50 lakh to 3.50 lakh per annum.

Giving this information,the university Vice-Chancellor Dr Jaspal Singh said: “Infosys Technologies has made 293 job offers to Punjabi University students,which is a record number in the region by any company. The University thus stands acknowledged as one of the best institutions in the region in terms of placements of its students by the leading IT companies.”

Tech Mahindra,which conducted recruitment drive here,made a total of 27 job offers,out of which 25 went to University College of Engineering.
