India's January vegetable oil imports fell 1.8 per cent to 872,395 tonnes from a year ago.

India’s January vegetable oil imports fell 1.8 per cent to 872,395 tonnes from a year ago,a leading trading body said on Monday.

India,the world’s top vegetable oil importer,buys mainly palm oils from Indonesia,Malaysia and a small quantity of soyoil from Argentina and Brazil.
