Jaypee Hydro’s project to be commissioned

Jaypee Hydro's1,000 MW project in HP would be commissioned next year.

Private hydro-power producer Jaypee Hydro on Thursday said its 1,000 MW project in Himachal Pradesh would be commissioned in the second half of the next calender year.

“The 1000 MW Karcham Wangtoo project in Himachal Pradesh would be commissioned between June and December 2010,” Jaypee Hydro Director D G Kadkade said.

The total cost of the project is Rs 6,000 crore.
