Congress leader Digvijaya Singh Monday said Arvind Kejriwal had wanted to be in the National Advisory Council headed by Sonia Gandhi but she turned him down.
He came to me in 2005 or 2006 with Swami Agnivesh and requested that I promote his name to become a member of the NAC. Probably Soniaji was wiser than me,so she refused, Singh told NDTV.
