Kejriwal wanted to be in NAC,Sonia refused, says Digvijaya

Congress leader Digvijaya Singh Monday said Arvind Kejriwal had wanted to be in the National Advisory Council headed by Sonia Gandhi but she turned him down

Congress leader Digvijaya Singh Monday said Arvind Kejriwal had wanted to be in the National Advisory Council headed by Sonia Gandhi but she turned him down.

He came to me in 2005 or 2006 with Swami Agnivesh and requested that I promote his name to become a member of the NAC. Probably Soniaji was wiser than me,so she refused, Singh told NDTV.

On the controversy over Robert Vadras business dealings with DLF,Singh said the Congress does not target families of people in politics. There are ethics in politics. Never attack family. Congress never attacked Atal Bihari Vajpayees son-in-law Ranjan Bhattacharya or L K Advanis son and daughter. Have we ever said a word against them?
