Convicted in a couple of cases and facing trial in others,RJDs Mohammad Shahabuddin is learnt to have offered his Siwan Lok Sabha seat to party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. He apparently took the moral high ground and refused to field his wife from the seat. The gesture,however,failed to impress Lalu,who had got his wife to occupy the Chief Ministers chair after he was chargesheeted in the fodder scam. So,the RJD chief has politely turned down Shahabuddins offer.
