Linguswamy to remake Vettai in Hindi

Director Linguswamy is all set to go North and remake his Vettai in Hindi,according to reports.

Vettai,which had R. Madhavan and Arya in key roles,was an action flick with comedy,romance,songs and drama blended in the right manner. Madhavan played a timid,useless cop who is helped out by his younger brother (Arya),a tough guy. The film was a hit in Tamil.

Sources close to Linguswamy reveal that the hit-making director has already talked to Shahid Kapoor,who is ready to do the role that was played by Arya in Tamil and that the hunt is on for an actor to take up Madhavans role.

Linguswamy,however,couldnt be reached for comments.
