Premium carmaker Mercedes-Benz India reported 45.99 per cent rise in its sales for June at 565 units.
The company had sold 387 units during the corresponding period last year,a Mercedes-Benz India spokesperson said.
During January-June period,the company’s sales soared by 58.12 per cent to 3,798 units from 2,402 units in the year-ago period,he added.
In March,Mercedes-Benz sold 196 units of C-Class sedan,231 units of E-Class sedan and 36 units of S-Class sedan.
The company assembled these three cars at its facility in Chakan in Maharashtra.
Besides,it also sold 102 units of various models that were imported as completely built units.
