Merrill Lynch buys 6L Polaris Fin shares

The shares were purchased on an average price of Rs 121.10 aggregating the deal size to Rs 7.66 crore.

In a separate bulk deal,HDFC Mutual Fund bought 2 lakh shares of Lakshmi Machine Works for Rs 2,075 apiece valuing the transaction to Rs 41.50 crore.

On the NSE,shares of Lakshmi Machine Works surged by 3.55 per cent to settle at Rs 2,125 apiece,while the scrip of Polaris slipped by 0.08 per cent to close at Rs 119.70 on the bourse.
