MoD gets services’ reports,to decide course of action

The Navy says the society poses a security threat and can be used to plot and carry out attacks on its establishments. The Army says the land was in its possession and is believed to have staked a claim to ownership. It says the Army HQ was not informed of the clearances to the society.

The Defence Estates report elaborates on the legal status of the land,including references to its communication with the state government over the past few decades.

“We are studying the reports to collate relevant information. The next course action will come on Monday,” a senior official said.
