With the launch of Tarai Shudh,Modi Naturals is focusing towards providing high value products directly to consumer.

Modi Naturals’ decision to enter the Consumer Segment comes in the wake of immense business opportunity that the Indian retail segment provides.

The branded edible oil segment is emerging as one of the high growth segments in Indian FMCG industry with a growth of 25 – 30% p.a.

in the coming years. Modi Naturals is going to focus towards health and fitness products which will be available to the Indian consumer.

Commenting on this new initiative,Anil Modi,Chairman and Managing Director,Modi Naturals Limited said,“With more and more Indians moving towards using branded mustard oil,we see a strong demand in this segment.” Modi Naturals visualises itself as a major contributor to the FMCG sector which is expected to grow to Rs.1,40,000 crores by the year 2015.

The Company’s foray in to the consumer segment is marked with the launch of Tarai Shudh,a pure Kacchi Ghaani Mustard Oil. It is the most pungent oil from the finest mustard producing regions of India. Tarai Shudh has 25% more flavour than the Agmark Grade 1 standard.
