MphasiS names Friedrich Froeschl as chairman

MphasiS announced that Dr. Friedrich Froeschl,who has been an Independent Director on the MphasiS Board since March 2009,will be its new chairman (non-executive).

MphasiS announced that Dr. Friedrich Froeschl,who has been an Independent Director on the MphasiS Board since March 2009,will be its new chairman (non-executive).

Dr. Froeschl replaces Andy Mattes,who resigns from the MphasiS Board.

Dr. Froeschl currently heads Hi Tec Invest GmBH & Co.,a private equity management and consulting company with a focus on information and communication technology. Prior to founding Hi Tec Invest in October 2004,Dr. Froeschl was Corporate Vice President for Corporate Information and Operations and a member of the managing board of Siemens AG.

MphasiS has appointed Francesco Serafini,Executive Vice President of Emerging Markets at HP as Vice Chairman of the Board (non-executive). In addition,the company named three new non-executive directors: Balu Doraisamy,Senior Vice President,Enterprise Business,Asia Pacific Japan at HP; Juergen Reiners,Vice President,Global Business Services at HP; and,Gerard Brossard,Vice President,Strategy and Corporate Development at HP.
