Tyre maker MRF today reported 67.09 per cent increase in standalone net profit,for the quarter ended March 31,at Rs 150.13 crore.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 89.85 crore in the same period last year,MRF said in a filing to the BSE.
The total income from operations during the second quarter also went up by 25.55 per cent to Rs 2,992.80 crore from Rs 2,383.79 crore in the year-ago period.
The shares of the company were trading 1.04 per cent down at Rs 11,318 apiece during afternoon on the BSE.
