ICICI Securities today launched a Research Suite which is a comprehensive research offering for capital markets and private equity investments. The Research Suite offers clients an easy and convenient access to its various research offerings,including the institutional research reports for large-caps,ICICIdirect reports for comparison of mid-caps with select large-caps and a 'Watch Tower' for emerging sectors. "The Research Suite will help to expand coverage of a sizable number of diverse companies at the aggregate and granular level as well as establish ICICI Securities' leadership position in understanding and appreciating the financial performance of Indian corporates",ICICI Securities' Managing Director and CEO,Madhabi Puri Buch,told reporters here. The Research Suite's most important tool is the i-Lens framework,a proprietary company modelling and valuation framework for analysing and valuing companies based on reformulated,consistent and economically relevant financial statements. i-Lens framework offers two product lines,Default Intrinsic Value and Modeling framework. "The i-Lens framework facilities analysis and valuation of unlisted companies to fulfil the increasing demand of investors in his space," she said. Presently,Default Intrinsic valuation covers 600 listed and unlisted companies in sectors such as food and beverages,health care and auto ancillaries. "We plan to add more sectors and increase coverage to 3,000 companies in six-months,",she said.
