Luxury car-maker,SkodaAuto India,on Wednesday said it has appointed Oliver Gruenberg as its new Managing Director — Technical Affairs.
Gruenberg assumed responsibilities from August 1 and has taken over from Jean-Marie Lagey,Managing Director Technical Affairs,who retired from Skoda Auto India after a distinguished tenure. Lagey has been assigned new responsibilities in Europe,the company said in a statement.
Before joining SkodaAuto India,Gruenberg played a key role in driving the business in Russia as Manufacturing Director and Deputy General Director of Volkswagen.
The company said Thomas Kuehl will continue as the spokesperson of the company and member of the Board & Director Sales & Marketing.
Subsequently,Sanjay Mundade will continue as the CFO and member of the Board of Commercial Affairs and Makarand Deshpande as member of the board of Human Resources and Administration at SkodaAuto India,the company said.
