Pak violates ceasefire again,third in a day

Amid escalating tension,Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire yet again Monday night the third breach of the day and seventh in the last three days targeting Indian forward posts along the International Border in Poonch and Samba districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Army sources said Pakistani troops fired on Indian posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar sub-sector of Poonch district at 9.20 pm in the latest ceasefire violation.

Earlier,Pakistani troops opened heavy fire using mortars,rockets and small arms on Indian forward posts along the LoC in Poonch and Durga Battalion areas around 1.50 am and fired small arms on Kothay Border Out Post along the International Border in Samba district at around 7 pm,spokesmen of the Army and the BSF said. There was no loss of life on Indian side,they said.
