Sarah Palin repeatedly assailed President Barack Obama in a speech before adoring tea party activists on Saturday. She noted the Democrats US state electoral losses since Obama took office with talk of hope and promises of change and asked,Hows that hopey,changey stuff workin out for you?
She chided Obama for losses in New Jersey and Virginia governors races last fall and in a Massachusetts Senate race last month,saying,When youre 0-3 youd better stop lecturing and start listening.
This movement is about people, the 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee said in her keynote address at the first national convention of the tea party coalition an anti-establishment,grassroots network motivated by anger over growth of government,budget-busting spending and Obamas policies.
The former Alaska governor smiled when a moderator asked her questions using the phrase President Palin. That prompted the audience to chant Run,Sarah,run!
Palin criticised Obama for blaming George W Bush for the countrys woes instead of the Democrats big-government,big-spending agenda. She said the Democrats were running out of time, suggesting big Republican wins in the fall mid-term polls. Palin also said the US needed a commander-in-chief not a professor of law,referring to Obama. She assailed the $787 billion stimulus plan Did you feel very stimulated?
