Financial technology company Polaris reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) at Rs 57.57 crore for the fourth quarter ending March 31,2011,up by 25.88 per cent over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Chennai-headquartered Polaris reported a PAT at Rs 45.73 crore for the quarter ending March 31,2010,Polaris Software Lab said in a statement. The company reported profit after tax at Rs 202.45 crore for the year ending March 31,2011,up 32.46 per cent over the same period of previous year. It had reported PAT at Rs 152.84 crore for the year ending March 31,2010. The board of directors have recommended a 90 per cent dividend of Rs 4.50 per share on the equity share capital of the company for fiscal 2011,the statement added. The total income of the company grew to Rs 443.00 crore for the quarter ending March 31,2011,up from Rs 350.70 crore reported in the same period of previous year. For the year ending March 31,2011,Polaris Software lab reported a total income of Rs 1,611.71 crore from Rs 1,327.33 crore registered during the same period of previous year. Polaris currently has operations in Tokyo,Sydney,Hong-Kong,Singapore,Dubai,Bahrain,Riyadh,London,Zurich,Frankfurt and New York.
