Prithviraj plays cop in Masters

Johnny Antony (of CID Moosa and Thuruppugulaan fame) directs Masters, which stars Prithviraj and Tamil actor Sasikumar (of Subramaniapuram fame). Piaa Bajpai,‘Kathal’ Sandhya,Mithra Kurian and Janaki play key roles. Also in the cast are Salim Kumar,Surekha (of Thakara fame),Geetha,Biju Menon,Siddique and Jagathy Sreekumar.

Prithviraj plays Ramakrishnan,a police officer who has recently taken charge of Kottayam. Sasi Kumar Milna Paul,plays his best friend from college days who is now a journalist,knows everything about the city and is involved in a lot of social issues facing the town. As a journalist,Milan is a major help to Ramakrishnan and vice-versa. Others who enter their lives include a dancer Ashley Jacob,a girl named Daksha Das who had witnessed a tragedy,and a film star. From here,their lives take a dramatic turn.

The film is scripted by debutant Jinu Abraham while Madhu Neelakantan takes care of the cinematography. Songs penned by Shibu Chakravarthy are set to tune by Gopi Sundar. Masters is produced by B.Sarath Chandran under the banner of Sincere Cinema.
