PVR Cinemas to add about 60-80 screens
PVR Cinemas would add about 60-80 screens in the country by March 2012.
As part of its expansion plans,Multiplex chain PVR Cinemas would add about 60-80 screens in the country by March 2012 with an investment of Rs 100 crore,a top company official said today.
The company,which currently has one multiplex chain in Chennai ,would open its second chain later this year,PVR Cinemas Group President Pramod Arora told reporters.

“We will be entering 13 cities for these 60-80 screens.”
He said the company is also planning to set up ‘gold rated’ seats,giving more comfort to people,under its PVR Premiere category,he said.
“We are planning to open a 300 seat capacity of gold rated complexes in Mumbai ”,he said.
Arora said their second multiplex would come up at the shopping mall MARG Junction here later this year.
