Raj website in Marathi,English

Sticking to his Marathi stand,Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray launched his party website — http://www.manase.org — in Marathi and English on Friday,making sure to point out that Hindi speakers were lower on his list of priorities.

“We intend to launch it in Hindi later,but it will take a lot of time and I don’t need to reach out to people who follow only Hindi,” said Raj,adding that the MNS wanted to launch the portal before the elections.

“Many would ask,why a strong Marathi protagonist like me should have an English version of my website. The answer is simple — I am not against any particular language. What I oppose is using language to create a political pressure group.”

The website is a timely move aimed at reaching out the MNS’s support base.
