Rayalaseema leaders meet Sonia

They want the city to be made a UT

Forced to accept the party’s decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh for a separate Telangana state,Union ministers from Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra Tuesday met Congress president Sonia Gandhi with a demand to make Hyderabad the permanent common capital. They want the city to be made a UT. With leaders from Seemandhra continuing their protest,sources said Gandhi has given her nod for a high-level party committee to be headed by A K Antony. Sources said she told the ministers to raise their concerns with the committee and said there will be no rethink on the Telangana decision.
