Rucha Gujrati to re-enter Rang Badalti Odani!

Rucha Gujrati who had replaced Priyanka Chibber in Rang Badalti Odani on Star One will be re-entering the show this week after she took a break for the reality show Desi Girl. She is essaying the role of Natasha,a beautiful,sensitive and determined girl who is in love with Shantanu played by Karan Tacker. Despite his negligent and irresponsible attitude,she has always stood by Shantanu. She will re-enter the show and find Shantanu missing from his house and go in search for him. “I am happy to be doing a daily soap. It’s an interesting character. I was Shantanu’s fiancee and as I have come back there will be twists and turns which I can’t reveal,” quips Rucha.

Avika Gor bids adieu as Anandi
The original pair of Balika Vadhu is set to bid adieu to the viewers this Wednesday and the following special one-hour episode on Thursday will introduce the new Anandi. Though the channel is unwilling to divulge the actress who will be essaying the older Anandi,the toss is between Pratyusha Banerjee from Jamshedpur and Nivedita Tiwari who has been garnering a lot of votes. However,Pratyusha comes closest to looking like Avika Gor who has won hearts with her sprightly performance. Meanwhile,Avika,who become synonymous with Anandi says she will be missing the show and her routine of coming on the sets after school everyday. “I would have loved to continue with the show but since the story is moving ahead ( a five year leap),I cannot play the same role anymore,” smiles the pretty actress. Avika,who nurtures the dream of becoming a Miss Universe,has already got offers for another show and a movie but is unwilling to reveal details. “My father makes all the decisions for me,” she says diplomatically.
