Samsung’s ballyhooed S-Pen stylus from the original Galaxy Note is getting a new home on a full-size tablet. Unveiling the latest tablet at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona,Samsung announced the launch of Galaxy Note 10.1.

The second entry in the company’s pen- and touch-capable Galaxy Note line,the tablet provides multi-screen functionality that enables multi-tasking such as: viewing web pages,videos or other applications side-by-side while writing a memo or sketching.

Designed to bring features introduced with the recently-launched Galaxy Note smartphone/tablet hybrid,the Galaxy Note 10.1 features S Note,a memo application that lets the user combine handwritten notes or sketches together with web content,images and other media. The application provides ready-to-use templates such as minutes of a meeting,diary,recipe etc.

The new Galaxy Note 10.1 is equipped with a 1.4GHz dual core processor,wi-fi channel bonding for better network performance,HSPA+ connectivity,and a sharper front-facing camera,and 64GB storage. It runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
