Sapient helps bring families closer to workplace

Sapient India undertook an innovative initiative at its Gurgaon office to let its people showcase their workplace to their families.

Sapient India undertook an innovative initiative at its Gurgaon office to let its people showcase their workplace to their families. Aptly titled,Parivaar,the motto of Sapient Indias family day was bringing home to the workplace.

What made it even more effective was that the program had been designed for the people,by the people at Sapient. The ambience was full of exuberance,fun and delight.

Says Pawan Vaswani,Director,Program Management and the Sapient Gurgaon Office Lead,Since our inception,we at Sapient have adhered to our six core values,one of which is relationships. Parivaar is one such event to strengthen the relationship between Sapient and its extended family.

The shopping stall,put up by the NGO Literacy India,was a major attraction for the ladies.

Another unique aspect of this fun-filled family event was a guided tour of the office by Vaswani. The idea was to let families experience the true Sapient culture by seeing first hand an office which has no cubicles and has an open seating setting. From team areas to war rooms (meeting rooms),to the cafeteria,the families got to see the environment their spouse/parents work in.
