Sarithiram due in August

Cheran in Myshkin’s next
Director-actor Cheran is to do the lead in the next film by Myshkin,the director of Chithiram Pesuthedi and Anjathey. The action film will start rolling soon. It has Nasser and Nadiya Moithu in key roles. Cheran will don the role of a CBI officer in this film,which will have cinematography by debutant Sathya,who has been an assistant to noted cinematographer-director P.C.Sreeram.
Meanwhile Myshkin’s Nandalala,a road movie in which he himself has played a key role,is yet to find its way to the theatres.

Satyan Anthicaud names his film Katha Thudarum
Noted director Satyan Anthicaud has the habit of naming his films after the shoot is half way through. He believes in coming up with a title that suits the theme. In keeping with this habit of his,Anthicaud’s new film,which is nearing completion,is titled Katha Thudaram.
The film has Jayaram plays an auto rickshaw driver while Mamta plays a mother who has been deserted by her husband. The cast also includes Mamookoya,Innocent,KPAC Lalitha,Lakshmipriya. Cinematography is by Venu while Ilayaraja scores the music.

Vinu Mohan-Bhama in Koottukaar
Vinu Mohan and Bhama,who made their debut with Lohithadas’ Nivedhyam,are now to play lead roles in Koottukaar. It is directed by Prasad Valancheril,who had earlier directed Highway Police and Perumaal. To be produced by Paulco Films,it has script by Satheesh Babu,music by S.P.Venkatesh and cinematography by Marimuthu. A youthful love story,Koottukaar will start rolling soon.
Vinu Mohan and Bhama’s Nivedhyam was a hit. Cycle which again starred the two was a hit. They had also acted together in Rajbabu’s Colours.

Prithviraj-Jayaram-Chackochan in Make-up man
Prithviraj,Jayaram and Kunchacko Boban (who is known popularly as Chackochan) are all set to come together in Make-up Man. To be directed by hit-maker Shafi for producer M.Ranjith,the film is being made under the banner of Rejaputhra Films.
Shafi’s last release was the Mammootty-starrer Chattambinaadu. Though Prithviraj,Chackochan and Shafi had worked together for Lollypop,it’s for the first time that Prithviraj is acting with Jayaram. Jayaram had played the hero in Shafi’s debut film,One Man Show.
