Engineering service provider Shriram EPC today reported an over 290 per cent jump in net profit for the quarter ended June 30,2010. The city-headquartered company reported a net profit of Rs 31.69 crore,up by 293 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous year. Shriram EPC had reported a net profit of Rs 8.05 crore in the same period last year,the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. For the year ended March 31,2010 the company reported a net profit of Rs 44.66 crore. The total income for the quarter ended June 30,2010,grew to Rs 262.96 crore from Rs 199.98 crore in the same period of the previous year. For the year ended March 31,2010,the total income stood at Rs 1,117.19 crore,it said.
