Somany Ceramics FY’10 net jumps two-fold

Somany Ceramics said its net profit rose by two-fold to Rs 20.46 crore for the year ended March 31,2010.

Somany Ceramics said its net profit rose by two-fold to Rs 20.46 crore for the year ended March 31,2010,as against Rs 8.74 crore of the previous fiscal.

Net sales of the company rose to Rs 536.94 crore in the financial year 2009-10,from Rs 442.09 crore of FY’09,Somany Ceramics said in a statement.

“We aim to grow by 20 per cent in the FY’11 and will invest accordingly for expanding our business operations and upgrading our manufacturing facilities,” Somany Ceramics Joint MD Abhishek Somany said.
