Steel prices remain flat in thin trade

Traders said lack of worthwhile activity from constructions units mainly kept steel prices steady.

There was not much activity on the local steel market today as prices moved in a tight range on lack of worthwhile activity from constructions activity,settled around previous levels.

The following are today’s quotations per tonne: CTD saria (Kamdhenu): 8-mm 48,500,10-mm 46,700,12 -mm 45,600,16-25 mm 46,100.

Saria Jai Bharat (TMT): 8-mm 45,400,10 mm 45,100,12-mm 44,400,16-25 mm 44,700. Amba shakti (TMT): 8-mm 47,300,10-mm 46,000,12-mm 45,000,16-25 mm 45,500.

MS Angle: (50×5) (50×6) 44,700,(40×5) (40×6) 33,500.
