The death of a 25-year-old HP employee,who was found gagged,bound and dead in his car,near his home on May 22,was on Friday declared as a case of suicide by the city police.

Sreerag S committed suicide after believing that he had been rejected by a girl he had established contact with over the telephone and email,but had never met in person,said DCP (east) Krishna Bhat.

Several factors pointed to a case of suicide including an email Sreerag sent on the night he died to the telesales girl,the central locking car being locked from inside,the presence of undigested sleeping pills in his stomach and lack of signs of any force on his body,police said.

For info on US fugitives,TN cops release photos

Tiruppur police released photographs of two fugitives from the US,seeking information about them after receiving an Interpol alert.

John Charles McCluskey,45,and Casslyn Welch,44,have been on the run from the law after Welch helped her cousin and fiance McCluskey escape from the Arizona State Prison in July 2010 where he was serving a 15-year sentence for murder.

District officials said the notice was issued to the public since many foreigners visit Tiruppur.
