ThoughtWorks,a leading global IT professional services firm,has commenced its operations in Gurgaon.
Gurgaon will be the fourth city where they have established operations in India. With a current strength of 600 employees and offices across Bangalore,Pune and Chennai,this expansion into Gurgaon is a step to further strengthen and expand ThoughtWorks footprint in India. This office will be headed by newly appointed General Manager,Anand Keshavan.
Speaking on the occasion,Mahesh Baxi,Managing Director of ThoughtWorks India,said,Moving up north is a strategic move for us to increase our ability to serve customers located in the NCR region. We will be actively hiring,and are looking to attract the talent pool of passionate technologists here.
As a part of their ongoing commitment to India as a strategic asset,they hope to scale up their operations in Gurgaon to 150 people in the next 18 months.
