Tigmanshu rubbishes reports of Preity playing a gangster

“The contract of Jai Ramji hasn’t been finalised as yet,but Preity Zinta is on board in principle. She’s a fine actress and will be playing a part she has never played before. It is an important role but she is not playing a gangster as reported,” clarified the film’s director Tigmanshu Dhulia.

The other actors include Irrfan,Randeep Hooda with Arjun Rampal playing a cop. The film,which is set in Uttar Pradesh, was to take off this month but has been delayed. “After a schedule in Mumbai it will be shot mostly in UP,” said Dhulia.
