Top Gear,a British TV series about motor vehicles infamous for its humorous tongue-in-cheek presenting style,is all set to cause its biggest upset yet by filming its Christmas special in India.

After angering Germans,Malaysians,Scots and Mexicans,Jeremy Clarkson, who had once described Indian roads as a war zone, said that he will be on location in a couple of weeks.

Earlier,in April 2007,Clarkson was criticized in the Malaysian parliament for having described one of their cars, the Perodua Kelisa,as the worst in the world, built in jungles by people who wear leaves for shoes.

A Malaysian minister had countered, pointing out that no complaints had been received from UK customers who had bought the car.

In 2008,the show was rapped by the BBC Trust for showing Clarkson and James May sipping gin and tonic at the wheel during a stunt.

Earlier, this year, the BBC was forced to apologize after Richard Hammond described Mexicans as lazy, feckless… and flatulent in the show.
